Description

It is an input signal during reset and its value is latched at the end of reset to set

auto MDI/MDIX function. It is link LED of port 6 after reset if LED direct mode is

selected. It is internally pulled low.

Force to be link at half duplex, if each node doesn’t support IEEE802.3x. This

will prevent the packet loss due to no flow control in full duplex mode.

It is internally pulled high. It is connected to GND through a resistor to turn off

the function in IP178A application circuit.

I UTP detect enable

Power saving mode for unplugged port.

1: disable,

FLP is sent out every 12~16ms.

0: enable

FLP is sent out every 1.2 sec if cable is unplugged and the function is enabled.

If a FLP is received, IP178A resumes to send out FLP every 12~16ms.

This function is disabled in spite of the setting on this pin and it can be enable

by EEPROM only.
