2.3.4 Sensor/Co-processor Interface Options
There are 3 main ways of interfacing to the VV5410/VV6410 sensor based on the above signals:
1. The colour co-processor supplies the sensor clock, CLKI, and uses the embedded control sequences to synchronise with
the frame and line level timings. Thus the host and sensor are running off derivatives of the same fundamental clock. To
allow the co-processor to determine the best sampling position of the video data, during its power-up sequence the sensor
outputs a 101010... sequence on each of its data bus lines for the host to lock on to.

2. The colour co-processor supplies the sensor clock, CLKI, and uses a free-running QCK supplied by the sensor to sample
the incoming video data stream. The embedded control sequences are used to synchronise the frame and line level timings.

nise to the incoming video data. Primarily intended for interfacing to frame grabbers.

2.4 Other Features
2.4.1 Audio Amplifier
Pins AIN and AOUTP & AOUTN are the input and outputs respectively for an audio amplifier.
2.4.2 Voltage Regulator
The on-chip voltage regulator requires only a few external components to form a fully functional voltage regulator to 3.3V.
