4.6.2. Attenuation distortion in the voice band :

4.6.2.1. Description :

The variation of insertion loss with frequency shall be measured using the

configuration in Figure 3. The defined ZHP will be attached to the xDSL port of the

splitter. The increase in attenuation distortion , relative to the 1004Hz insertion loss ,

caused by the POTS splitter with the ZHP(or modem) load attached using each of the

test loops identified in 4.3 , shall be less than that

specified in Table 2.

4.6.2.2. Test configuration :
