TDK 5111
Functional Description
13 PAGND
14 PAOUT
Ground connection of the power amplifier.
The RF ground return path of the power
amplifier output PAOUT (pin 14) has to be
concentrated to this pin.
RF output pin of the transmitter.
14
A DC path to the positive supply VS has to
be supplied by the antenna matching net-
work.

FSEL
VS
+1.2 V
This pin has to be shorted to ground to
select the 315 MHz transmitter frequency
range.
30 kΩ
15
A logic low (FSEL < 0.5 V) applied to this pin
sets the transmitter to the 315 MHz fre-
90 kΩ
+1.1 V quency range.
A logic high (FSEL open) applied to this pin
30 µA
sets the transmitter to the 630 MHz fre-
quency range.
16 CSEL
VS
+1.2 V
VS
This pin is used to select the desired refer-
ence frequency.
A logic high (CSEL open) applied to this pin
60 kΩ
5 µA
sets the internal frequency divider to accept
16
a reference frequency of 9.84 MHz.
60 kΩ
+0.8 V
1) Indicated voltages and currents apply for PLL Enable Mode and Transmit Mode.
In Power Down Mode, the values are zero or high-ohmic.
