ERIC’s oscillation frequency is based on the
IRC2’s CLK (determined by code option
“IRC2S”). For example, if IRC2S = 0, then
IRC2’s oscillation frequency is 2MHz. The
system CLK can then be changed by adjusting
R. However, in this case, the system CLK will
always be greater than 2M. That is to say, the
system CLK can only be adjusted to between
2M and 6M. The following table shows the
relation between the system oscillating CLK and
the external resistor values.
