16-BIT SINGLE-CHIP MICROCONTROLLERS
DESCRIPTION
The µPD784935A, 784936A, 784937A, and 784938A are members of the µPD784938A Subseries in the 78K/IV
Series. These microcontrollers are based on the µPD784908 Subseries but are provided with the higher internal ROM
and RAM capacities and a ROM correction function.
In addition, a flash memory version, µPD78F4938A, that can operate in the same power supply voltage range as
the mask ROM version, and various development tools are also available.
Detailed function descriptions are provided in the following user’s manuals. Be sure to read them before
designing.
