INTRODUCTION
The ST90158 AND ST90135 microcontrollers are developed AND manufactured by STMicroelectronics using a proprietary n-well CMOS process. Their performance derives from the use of a flexible 256-register progRAMming model for ultra-fast context switching AND real-time event response. The intelligent on-chip peripherals offload the ST9 core from I/O AND data management processing tasks allowing critical application tasks to get the maximum use of core resources. The new-generation ST9 MCU devices now also support low power consumption AND low voltage operation for power-efficient AND low-cost embedded systems.

The Philips 83C748/87C748 offers the advantages of the 80C51 architecture in a small package AND at low cost. The 8XC748 Microcontroller is fabricated WITH Philips high-density CMOS technology. Philips epitaxial substrate minimizes CMOS latch-up sensitivity. DESCRIPTION

The Philips 8XC550 is a high-performance microcontroller fabricated WITH Philips high-density CMOS technology. This Philips CMOS technology combines the high speed AND density characteristics of HMOS WITH the low power attributes of CMOS. Philips epitaxial substrate minimizes latch-up sensitivity. The CMOS 8XC550 has the same instruction set as the 80C51.

The 8XC550 contains a 4k × 8 EPROM (87C550)/ROM (83C550)/ROMless (80C550 has no progRAM memory on-chip), a 128 × 8 RAM, 8 channels of 8-bit A/D, four 8-bit ports (port 1 is input only), a watchdog timer, two 16-bit counter/timers, a seven-source, two-priority level nested interrupt structure, a serial I/O port for either multi-processor communications, I/O expansion or full duplex UART, AND an on-chip oscillator AND clock circuits.

DESCRIPTION
The ST72251 HCMOS Microcontroller Unit is a member of the ST7 FAMILY of Microcontrollers. The device is based on an industry-stANDard 8-bit core AND features an enhanced instruction set. The device normally operates at a 16MHz oscillator frequency. Under software control, the ST72251 may be placed in either WAIT, SLOW or HALT modes, thus reducing power consumption.
